Mixing NozzlesPlasti-Co offers a number of static mixing nozzle sizes and types that are fast and cost effective solutions to many processing problems. Outstanding mixing of the polymer melt prior to injection results in the following benefits: Reduced spots, streaks and clouds of color, Reduced colorant usage (10% - 40%), Narrower part tolerance, Reduced reject rates, Improved melt flow, Improved cycle time, Improved color distribution and Improved part quality using regrind. TyPhoon contains eight very efficient static mixing elements that homogenize the polymer melt during injection. The mixing elements are virtually indestructible and create a low pressure drop.
